The University of the Incarnate Word – Building a Legacy of Safety 

For nearly 40 years, we’ve had the honor of working with The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), one of San Antonio’s most historic and respected institutions. From academic buildings to student housing and beyond, we’ve been part of the university’s growth and evolution, ensuring that its spaces remain safe, functional, and built for the future.

Since 1986, our team has provided code consulting, occupancy classification letters (OCLs), permitting, sprinkler review, flow tests, and more across multiple projects in 1990, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2019, 2020, 2022, and beyond—with new projects still underway this year! 

Higher education campuses require thoughtful safety planning, balancing historic preservation, new development, and the unique needs of students, faculty, and staff. We’re proud to have played a role in helping UIW provide a safe and inspiring learning environment for generations of Cardinals.
